modesty and respect in intimacy

A place of freedom, modesty has an essential dimension that goes well beyond sexuality: it preserves and reveals both the thickness and the enigma of each human being. Thus, in my opinion, the intimate is not a value belonging to the individual but goes well beyond the limits of the flesh and then exceeds the limits of the corporeal set at the beginning, through the respect necessary for modesty (essential foundation of the relationship of trust).

By my own denudation, this aspect of intimacy could have been born in the space of my connection with Haruka. Strangely facilitated by her relationship to my completely naked body, she was able to enter this space of creation where intimacy gradually emerges in an authentic relationship of equality. Between us, little by little, it was no longer otherness that ensured the equivalence of opposites but quite the opposite. For her as for me, the last taboos have been broken.
